As a mother of three young children I found myself always labeling items for preschool,
nurseries, camps, park outings, etc. Not only was I putting our names on bottles & sippy cups, I
was marking snack bowls (and their lids) pool toys, sand toys--all the items that we took with us
and could easily get confused with other's belongings. When my oldest started Kindergarten
we were asked to label everything from their back-pack to their special box of crayons!
I was tired of the peeled off tape, the worn off Sharpie markers, the sticky residue....and the
constant need to relabel an item after it was washed (or left out in the rain!). So, my solution
was to make labels that would hold up, show the different personalities of my kids, and be
something that even my youngest who was still in diapers could recognize as her own.
I have always liked to create, organize, and help others however I can...so with the support of
family and friends Punkaboo was born!
Each item I make is given the utmost attention to quality and detail. I will not send any item out
that I would not be willing to use myself.
